Sherri Webber, President & SNS:
Sherri is President/Owner of LaVon Group, Inc. a company specializing in School Nutrition Solutions. She started the business after 18 years of working in School Nutrition programs in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and finishing her career in Florida. Sherri is an expert in her field with a plethora of knowledge regarding the rules and regulations of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), National School Breakfast Program (NSBP) and Afterschool Snack Program (ASSP). She has been a certified ServSafe instructor for the past nine years and a certified trainer for the Institute of Child Nutrition (ICN) for seven years.

Kitchen Equipment & Building Expert: 35 years in commercial food service equipment industry. In depth knowledge of new kitchen design and/or renovation utilizing space to maximize production; proficient in equipment assessment, evaluation and specifications; confidently trains kitchen staff proper use and care, start up and preventative maintenance of equipment; works directly with You to ensure the appropriate equipment meets Your needs; monitors vendors to ensure proper equipment installation and will be Your advocate for an on-time completion.
Registered Dietitian: 30 years dedicated to the Child Nutrition program. Has coordinated marketing and promotional events for nutritional education, community forums and student taste testing; has organized student and staff local vendor food show to introduce new products; has conducted menu nutrient analysis to ensure compliance with USDA meal pattern guidelines. Will confidently work with Your staff to improve menus meeting student choices, as well as, efficient production to meet Your needs!
Procurement Expert: 10 years experience in preparing bid documents for solicitation that meet federal, state and local procurement guidelines for National School Lunch Programs. Confidently creates item specifications and special provisions to meet individual program needs. Proficient in facilitating pre-bid and evaluation committee meetings.
